Sangria (red) love!

I’ve been searching for this nailpolish for months but it had gone sold out so quickly that I just abandoned the idea to buy it. Until I found it unexpectedly some days ago. And on sale!

I wanted it so badly because it’s the perfect wine red, that “sangria” red perfect for this fall/winter. So I had really high expectations on the final result but I have to say it was even better than I expected. It’s exactly the shade of red I’ve been searching for months and I’ve always wanted.

It took two coats for this gelly, super glossy result and it definitely didn’t need any top coat on it. I think it’s really sophisticated, elegant but wearable all at once and I really recommend it to you if you’re a burgundy lover (or should I say obsessed?) like me!

Nailpolish: Pupa Lasting Color Gel in 92 (Paris Experience collection)

Ho cercato questo smalto per mesi, ma ne avevano venduto ogni singolo esemplare subito dopo l’uscita, così mi ero arresa all’idea che non lo avrei trovato. Finché non l’ho trovato, del tutto inaspettatamente, qualche giorno fa. E scontato!

Lo volevo così tanto perché é il perfetto color vinaccia, quel rosso sangria così in voga quest’anno da diventare colore dell’autunno/inverno.

Ovviamente avevo grandi aspettative sul risultato finale, ma devo ammettere che le ha addirittura superate. É esattamente la tonalità di rosso che cercavo da mesi e che ho sempre voluto.

Ci sono volute due passate per questo finish brillante, glossato, perfettamente coprente. E non c’é voluto neanche il top coat! Lo trovo molto sofisticato ed elegante, estremamente portabile e versatile. Be lo raccomando se, come me, amate il borgogna (la mia é più un’ossessione, lo so!).

My Travel Kit

I spent a couple of days in Rome mostly to do an exam and also to see my friends, enjoy my beloved city and do some shopping.
As usual I travelled with super heavy bags but I have to say this Mango tote is perfect if you need to carry in your bag everything you’ll need on a weekend abroad. I also had to carry many books because this exam was a hard one so I added to the “travel pack” a mini shopper from Laduree. I really love it because it remembers me of my first visit to Paris when, among many other wonders, I discovered the magic world of Laduree.
Now I’m already on my way back (and posting by the train) but before I left I also had the time to do some shopping on the first day of sales.
I’ve just left but I already can’t wait to be back, loving you every day more, Rome!

Ho trascorso un paio di giorni a Roma, soprattutto per fare un esame, ma anche per vedere i miei amici, godermi la mia città adorata e fare un po’ di shopping.
Come al solito ho viaggiato con borse pesantissime, ma devo dire che questa di Mango é della misura perfetta se avete bisogno di far entrare in un’unica borsa tutto il necessario per un weekend fuori. Ho anche dovuto portarmi parecchi libri perché questo esame era uno di quelli pesanti, cosí al kit da viaggio ho aggiunto anche una mini shopper di Laduree a cui sono particolarmente affezionata perché mi ricorda il mio primo viaggio a Parigi quando, tra le altre meraviglie, ho scoperto il favoloso mondo di Laduree.
Adesso sto già tornando (e postando dal treno), ma prima di andarmene ho avuto anche il tempo di fare un po’ di shopping, approfittando del primo giorno di saldi.
Insomma, sono appena partita e già non vedo l’ora di tornare nella mia Roma, ogni giorno più bella.
