London Souvenir

An other super busy day packing and getting ready to move out. Leaving this house makes me so sad and that’s why I’ve been in the worst mood ever during these last months. With one and only exception, of course: London. Those days were the happiest and the sweetest, so full of joy, love and Christmas magic. That’s why I decided to wear this sweater today: to bring some of that positive vibe back! Obviously I bought it in London, mostly to face the cold but also because I really like it. 

Today I paired it with a stretch black dress, wool tights and black boots. A comfy outfit with a girly touch. ‘Cause if you’re in a bad mood you can still look pretty!

Altra giornata piena di impegni per me, tra scatoloni e preparativi per il trasloco. L’idea di lasciare questa casa mi rattrista enormemente e per questo negli ultimi mesi sono stata di pessimo umore. Con un’unica eccezione, ovviamente: Londra. Quelli londinesi sono stati giorni di grande felicità, amore e magia natalizia. Motivo per cui ho deciso di indossare questo maglione oggi: per riportare un po’ di tutta quella positività! Chiaramente l’ho comprato a Londra, soprattutto per il gran freddo, ma anche perchè mi era piaciuto molto.

Oggi l’ho abbinato ad un vestito nero elasticizzato, calze di lana a rombi e stivaletti neri. Un outfit comodo, ma femminile al tempo stesso. Perchè possiamo essere di pessimo umore, ma carine allo stesso tempo!

BFFs!

They’ve been with me everywhere these last days. They’ve kept me warm and comfy, they’ve completed every single look with a touch of eccentric fun. They’ve definitely been my BFF during these London days!
They’re wool stocks and I’ve always liked them but I had never worn them this much. I wore mine with leggings, leather boots and comfy knitted sweaters.

Mi hanno accompagnato ovunque in questi ultimi giorni. Mi hanno tenuto al caldo con comodità e hanno completato perfettamente ogni singolo outfit, con un tocco di simpatica eccentricità. Sono stati decisamente i miei migliori amici durante queste giornate londinesi!
Sono i calzettoni di lana e, per quanto mi siano sempre piaciuti, non li avevo mai indossati così tanto. Li ho abbinati ai leggings, gli stivali di pelle ed a maglioni comodi di lana grossa.

Selfridges’ mirrors!!!

A quick post about a quick pic I took while I was trying something on at Selfridges’ fitting rooms!
A casual, warm outfit to take a long walk from Piccadilly to Marble Arch. The brocade leggings are from Tezenis, you can find them in stores, the sweater is from Zara, just like the boots, and the tee is from Happiness is a 10$ tee.
London… Well, London is just amazing as usual, covered in lights and full of this magic festive mood!

Un post veloce per una foto veloce scattata nei camerini di Selfridges!
Un outfit casual e caldo (qui si gela) per una lunga camminata da Piccadilly fino a Marble Arch. I leggings brocade sono di Tezenis (li trovate nei negozi), il maglione intrecciato é di Zara, come gli stivali, e la maglietta di Happiness is a 10$ tee.
Londra… Beh, Londra é meravigliosa come sempre, ricoperta di luci ed impregnata di un magico clima natalizio!

Home is where the heart is!

I left my heart in London when I visited it for the first time, some years ago. So I could say I’m going back there to take it back but the truth is I’m going back because I can’t stay away too long. From my heart. From my home.

I don’t know if I’ll be able to post from there so if I won’t I just wish you all a wonderful week, close to all your “hearts”!
Last thing: do you have any suggestion about what to see/do and where to go (to shop too, of course!)? I’ve been there before but I like to have some tips from other travellers! Thank you!

Ho lasciato il mio cuore a Londra quando l’ho vista per la prima volta, qualche anno fa. Potrei, quindi, dire che torno lí per riprendermelo, ma la verità é, semplicemente, che non riesco a stare lontana troppo a lungo dal mio posto preferito al mondo. Dal mio cuore. Dalla mia casa del cuore.

Non so se riuscirò a postare quando sarò lí, se non dovessi riuscirci auguro a tutti voi una bellissima settimana, vicino ai vostri cuori!
Un’ultima cosa: avete qualche consiglio su cosa fare/vedere/mangiare e, in generale, dove andare (anche per fare shopping, ovviamente)? Sono già stata a Londra, ma mi piace moltissimo ricevere consigli da altri viaggiatori. Grazie!
